Michael Stipe
John Michael Stipe was born in Decutar, Georgia on January the 4th 1960. As the son of an army colonal he was used to travelling the country and moving to differant towns. Michael was shy and didn't make friends easily and when it came time for him to go to collage he chose to go to Athes University as an art student.
One of Michaels hobbies was buying records from a record store called Wuxtrey's. Wuxtrey's counter clerk was called Peter Buck and he was annoyed that Stipe picked all the records he wanted for himself, they soon became friends. Michael told Peter he wanted to be in a band and Peter happened to have just met Berry and Mills at a party. They played their first gig under the name of twisted kites at Kathleen O'Briens birthday.
